A Break From Reality
Today has been great and exhausting (not exhausting in the sense that every ounce of energy has been drained from my body like an SUV drains gas; but exhausting in the sense that I can function for the entire day, but once my head hits the pillow I'm out for good). I woke up to JT's jokingly assigned "Shake It" by Metro Station ring tone, laid out with him, worked out (hardcore) with him, ate God's pure gift from heaven in the form of Su Casa with him, watched Dane Cook's "Vicious Circle" with him, went to Redeemer with him, watched National Treasure with him, and overall just had loads of fun with him. Who knew that a side effect of fun was overwhelming drowsiness?? Not I. Maybe if you're not supposed to mix fun and working out. Or maybe it's the Minus The Bear. They're like the next step of fun--ear-ingested ecstasy. Regardless, it's worth it. Even if the side effect of tiredness causes a side effect of loopyness (AKA: punch-drunkenness). From what I can tell, the world is truly filled with vicious circles. Dane, you have my respect. And speaking of comedians, I have a joke: George Bush.
With my freshly glued-in track of red and track of blue fake hair, I will enter the world of subconsciousness in which I dream of my underlying fears, hopes, and excitements combined with pure insanity. Stephen Colbert marrying me hanging upside down in an Alaskan tree with a leprechaun as our priest ? Stephen and the leprechaun are my hopes and hanging upside down in an Alaskan tree is the insanity.
I wish you all a fulfilling slumber.
